It’s hard to believe that my favorite version of the caped crusader,the one I grew up on is 60 years old today.
But it’s true.
I remember watching reruns of the show on the syfy network and tv land when I was a lad.
This version of Batman really has made a huge impact on me and I’m so grateful to Adam and Burt for bringing them to life.
I wasn’t lucky enough to meet Adam when he was alive.
I wish that I had gotten the chance to tell him how much he meant to me.
In the past decade I was able to revisit the show thanks to Metv and H&I.
One of my greatest pleasures has been the fandom.
Discovering the fandom when I did has been one of the greatest moments of my life.
Without the 60’s batman series, you don’t have my love for Batman.
They are intertwined and interlocked within one another.
There isn’t one without the other.
I don’t know what 2026 will bring but I do hope more batman 1966 is involved.
