when I was a kid, spider-man was among my favorite heroes.
and this movie was the answer to my prayers.
11 year old Tom, was excited to see his one and only webcrawler come to life.
everytime this movie was on TV, I watched it. Tobey is peter Parker to me.
the OG movies do have a silver age quality to them, in my eyes they do.
Tobey DEFINETLY defined a certain version of spidey, and that's a version of him that I enjoy.
a couple of years ago I acquired all three raimiverse spidey movies and It felt like I accomplished the big one.i was overjoyed that I finally had the completed set .
being an adult and being able to recover and add the stuff that I had as a kid has been so satisfying.
if i'm being honest, I don't know who "the better spider-man" is nor do I give a fuck or any at all.
isn't it enough that I love all three actors? but there might be a smidge of bias with Tobey.
he is the one I grew up with after all.
